They’re used to hearing applause every time they step into the office. They’ve surpassed every expectation set for them in their prior positions, and now…you get a shot at bringing them on board. So are you going to leave everything to chance when it comes to your interview team? Let the whole team just “wing it,” and hope that they don’t screw things up?
While it can be delicate, you absolutely need to sit down with every person who is on the schedule and literally interview them for their ability to interview your candidate to discover the information you need for your hiring decision, as well as their ability to “sell” your company.
